Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using Travelog and purchasing its one-time products.

Effective June 12, 2026

1. About Travelog

Travelog is a travel planning and recording service operated under the ChuppeWorks product name. The legal seller for a paid order is identified during Paddle checkout and on the receipt Paddle provides.

2. Accepting these terms

By using Travelog, you agree to these terms. If you use Travelog for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept them for that organization. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. The service

Travelog helps you create itineraries, evaluate place and route information, adapt plans, and keep travel records. Routes, opening hours, fares, alerts, and other third-party information may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. You remain responsible for checking critical travel details with the relevant operator or venue.

4. Accounts and your content

You are responsible for your account, devices, and the accuracy and legality of content you add. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, synchronize, back up, and display it solely to operate and improve the service.

5. Paid products

Manual planning, reading, canonical import, and canonical export are free for unlimited trips. One account may use Google-powered smart planning and Travel Mode on its first named trip without payment; it may include clearly labeled sponsored suggestions and remains permanently attached to that trip. From the second trip onward, smart planning and Travel Mode require a one-time Trip Pass for that named trip, are not recurring subscriptions, and are ad-free. The price and applicable taxes are shown before checkout.

Paddle is our Merchant of Record and processes payments, taxes, receipts, and eligible refunds. Paddle's checkout terms also apply to the payment transaction.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls or usage limits, scrape or resell provider data, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use Travelog to violate another person's rights.

7. Third-party services

Travelog may connect to services such as Google Maps, Notion, Obsidian, and Paddle. Their terms and availability also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services, and you may disconnect optional integrations where supported.

Sponsored suggestions are advertisements, not independent endorsements. They are labeled and are never added to an itinerary without your action.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes. Export access is intended to remain available even after Trip Pass paid features end.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Travelog is provided on an “as available” basis. It is not an emergency, navigation-safety, immigration, medical, or legal service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, missed reservations, provider inaccuracies, or travel disruptions. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

You may stop using Travelog at any time. We may restrict access for material or repeated violations, security risks, fraud, or legal requirements. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export your content.

11. Governing rules

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator identified at checkout, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence.
